    Is merrick dog food good?

  6. @quincyscott6853 on February 5, 2025 at 9:33 pm

I have the pedigree brand and I saw a lot of the stuff that you talked about in the ingredients that were bad, and I wanted to know what different kind of brand I can go with. I have a 6 pound Chihuahua mix.

  14. @make1782 on February 5, 2025 at 9:43 pm

If you’re feeding your family members with kibble, you’re already wrong. The proper diet isn’t available in the pet aisle.

We need another video on dog foods

  16. @rockytop53 on February 5, 2025 at 9:46 pm

The only thing that works for my dog is ground beef and a little bit of vegetables

  17. @rudydwyer3458 on February 5, 2025 at 9:49 pm

99 percent of dog food is trash. Cat’s too.

  18. @0kiguess on February 5, 2025 at 9:50 pm

Feed your dogs raw! Costco sells chicken drumsticks for 99cents per lb. I did the math and it’s just slightly cheaper to feed my dog raw, than it is to feed her a high end dry food. Raw chicken legs, raw egg, fish oil, coconut oil, chicken liver, hearts and gizzards maybe some sardines, honey and raw veggies or fruit. If I have some beef around, I’ll throw her some as well. Many organs of chicken are extremely cheap.

  19. @Jesschoe on February 5, 2025 at 9:50 pm

Also watch out for excessive amounts of peas and legumes specifically peas if you see peas listed more than three times they are ingredient splitting which means there is more peas than you would think

  20. @MrAbword on February 5, 2025 at 9:50 pm

Grain inclusive has been around a lot longer than grain free so that’s what I base it off. All them lentils and legumes in grain free foods are what causes problems in my opinion but I’m not an expert in this.

  21. @empressraquel on February 5, 2025 at 9:51 pm

I feel all three of my dogs raw. Very rare they have kibble, mostly when I’m out of town.

  22. @Kingyellafakecartier on February 5, 2025 at 9:51 pm

Believe it or not our dogs need to eat a balanced diet consisting of the stuff we eat ! That’s the best way to make sure they don’t get non sense

  23. @J.Rrivera-u6c on February 5, 2025 at 9:54 pm

Jinx dog food or blue buffalo

  24. @maureengilligo1960 on February 5, 2025 at 9:54 pm

I listen to my veterinarian. Does not want my cat on grain free

  25. @lizardfishmanbearpig1818 on February 5, 2025 at 9:55 pm

We have fed all of my dogs supreme choice grain free salmon recipe for the last decade. They love the taste and have great results on it(lush coat, high energy). When you open the bag it doesn’t have that nasty industrial smell like so many others. The ingredient list is impressive. To top it off its very affordable in my local area. I don’t believe those studies for a second.

  26. @JAYl97 on February 5, 2025 at 9:56 pm

Majority of kibble isn’t good if you need somthing like kibble then use freeze dried), I use primal pet foods. And you can also find goat milk ect. They have it all.

  28. @findingmyspitfire2441 on February 5, 2025 at 10:01 pm

Don’t listen to this dude about dog food. It WILL cause heart failure, it’s been proven time and time again that grain free food is one of the leading causes of heart failure in dogs under the age of 5. This dude is just trying to up sale you some bullshit. He’s gonna kill your dog if you listen to this bullshit that no vet or vet tech would ever recommend

  29. @Eye_Que1725 on February 5, 2025 at 10:01 pm

Feed your dog or cat a raw diet. That is what is healthy.

  40. @sezakassabian8231 on February 5, 2025 at 10:13 pm

From costco: buy a large bag of organic frozen veggies, cook it in Dutch oven with water till soft/mushy then add your organic ground meat of choice. Top it with some turmeric, hemp hearts and a little bit of org grass fed yogurt.

Dogs are such a gift to mankind and they, too, deserve to eat real food.
