I have 19 (yes, nineteen, lol) indoor cats, and one got ear mites and passed it to 5 of the others. I tried olive oil with acv on some and coconut oil with acv on others, and both combos worked. Thank you!

    What about neem oil

  4. @LibrePapillionJaune on February 5, 2025 at 9:35 pm

Thank you, however how should you administer for a cat? Drops directly inside the base of the ear as well?

Also when you say 7 days on and 7 days off do you mean until the mites are gone or to keep the mites a bay?

  5. @raptureready3015 on February 5, 2025 at 9:35 pm

I started this tonight and could not believe how much crap oozed out of his ear!! Thank you so much for this video! It was so needed. So needed.

I tried this remedy for 3 days but it worsened my cat’s ear condition. Before the treatment, there was only coffee ground like wax in my cat’s ears but after putting oil in his ears, they became inflammated, painful and red, also the wax production increased drastically. I don’t know what went wrong, I used castor oil+baby oil in 1:1 ratio.

    How much oil????????????

  15. @roselucht4583 on February 5, 2025 at 9:48 pm

We started using pure Neem oil 1 part to 10 parts pure cold pressed almond oil. We applied it to our miniature poodle once daily, it’s only the 3rd day and we notice a HUGE difference in her! We will continue for a week. This is the only thing that has worked for us. We had no idea she had mange , we knew she was going downhill fast and she was miserable. We tried EVERYTHING else recommended and nothing else has worked. No itching now and her skin is a soft pink rather than the flame red of before.

I’M DESPERATE! Has anyone ever used horse paste Ivermectin (a pea size) "externally" for ear mites??? Or, has anyone used "NEEM OIL" for ear mites on their cats? If so, how many drops per ear?

  28. @spookycupcake4943 on February 5, 2025 at 10:07 pm

Hello, Do you have any tips for removing ear mites that come up from the ear canal to the surface of the inner ear? I’m having a hard time removing the many tiny black spots that settle near the hairs at the entrance of the ear, even when rubbing.

I’ve tried using coconut oil, green tea, and apple cider vinegar with cotton pads and cotton swabs, but it’s still difficult. Sometimes I give up after a few minutes because my cat isn’t very cooperative and won’t tolerate being held in place against his will for more than 15 minutes. I’m also afraid to hurt him by rubbing too much or too hard the same spot.

You can mix your castor oil with Lemongrass oil ! After cleaning the ears properly mix castor oil and lemongrass.

    This study concludes:

Lemongrass oil exhibited potent acaricidal activity against Sarcoptes mites. At 10% and 5% (v/v), it killed all mites within 10 and 25 min, respectively. Its LC50 values were 1.37%, 1.08%, 0.91%, 0.64%, and 0.48% at 1, 3, 6, 12, and 24 h, respectively. Moreover, lemongrass oil significantly reduced the hatching rate of Sarcoptes eggs at various concentrations (10%, 5%, 1%, 0.5%, and 0.1% v/v).

    Hello,

Currently, it has been 3 days since I started putting 5 drops of a mix of olive oil and coconut oil into each of my cat’s ears, once a day. I intend to continue for 7 days, then stop for 7 days, and repeat the same procedure for another 7 days.

I would like to know what you think of this mixture, dear doctor. I know that in your video, you mentioned coconut oil, but another doctor said not to put coconut oil in the ear canal (only use it to clean the ear with a coton) for cats because it can cause an hemotomia, so I’m not sure if I should continue adding coconut oil.

I would also like to know if you would recommend infusing a clove of garlic or adding ACV into this oil mixture before using it.

Moreover, I’ve noticed that every time I put this mixture into my cat’s ears, the inside becomes red, and the ears feel warm to the touch. And as soon as I let him go, he runs away from me, so I’m worried I’m hurting my cat.

Please let me know your thoughts, as this is very important.

Thank you so much! I used Castor Oil with my cat and it took care of the ear mites!

  35. @DaphLynn on February 5, 2025 at 10:16 pm

I have a cat who’s owner passed away and the cat found him a he here. Idk if he has mites or just yeast. He won’t hardly let us pick him up. But what can I use he’s MISERABLE shaking his head and claws at my door constantly which in turn keeps my dogs barking. Also I add,I have 3 indoor dogs who’s spay shaking heads, pawing at ears and intensely licking paws. I took one to vet and vet said ear infection. Came home found your videos and been trying this on the ears, except not cat.

  40. @ashleyigarcia on February 5, 2025 at 10:20 pm
