RAW BOOST healthy weight for my cats. I soak it in water for 9 minutes first

Synthetic food cannot feed a living body. You can ‘survive’ on it, but you will never thrive on it.

  4. @aileenbernier4060 on February 5, 2025 at 9:31 pm

My question with feeding kibble is: what dog really wants to eat the same dry food every day. Dogs need variety, just like people do. Have you seen how they make kibble? Yes some kibble maybe better than others, no doubt, my dog’s health improved greatly when I stopped dry food and fed raw.

  5. @sabbylouise on February 5, 2025 at 9:33 pm

    What about Sundays?

  6. @joannetyrrell364 on February 5, 2025 at 9:35 pm

My raw food costs less than the two top kibbles. No brainer.

  7. @paulouzman7267 on February 5, 2025 at 9:36 pm

I notice this is all about ingredients. Ingredients is marketing, nutrition is fact. If these foods are so good, the nutrition profile will prove it. Remember, protein for an adult dog should be 20-30% and calcium and phosphorus under 1%. More is not better for optimal nutrition and can lead to side effects like aggression and renal problems.

  8. @christyconatser2680 on February 5, 2025 at 9:37 pm

    No kibble is good. Period.

  9. @janinehartwig3356 on February 5, 2025 at 9:38 pm

What part of this looks like food? Ffs feed your animals real food.

  10. @nc2316 on February 5, 2025 at 9:41 pm

Best kibbles is NO kibbles! My dog is 15, no health issue, she runs like a puppy. Only because of her food and commun sense, you won’t feed yourself with food that has no nutrients in it. Kibbles is overcooked sick dead animals! I feed my dog with boiled chicken, 2 tbsp of beans, a handful of spinach, blended. A raw carrot for her dessert! This is the way of keeping your dog healthy. You are welcome!

I’m a fan of Horizon Taiga Pork diet(either grain free or with grains, they make both options). No allergens in it for my dog(no sneaky chicken and egg). The ingredients seem decent to me and they say they bake it instead of extruding. I just wish they used a fish oil instead of canola oil.

@The BK Pets, can you please review Ollie dog food kibble?

  13. @3AmericanPie on February 5, 2025 at 9:46 pm

I have had dogs all my my life and about 8 years ago.The grain free kibble was hype and got on board vecaues it was said it was the best way, now, my baby is 11 and he got a physical like every year, now he has a heart murmur. Not sure what level but it could be because of grain free food. I always felt it was the best now. I hear grain fee foods do cause heart problems. About a month or two, I got off the grain free dry food. (Dr orders) Now I am on board with Royal Canin. I know a lot of reviews have been said It’s overprised, but I still have it been using it, and so far, my baby is doing good after a slow transition of foods. I’m a parent who does not look at my dog as a dog but as my child. He is 11 as of now.I’ve been taking care of them always. I was just wondering what people feel about grain free foods theses day’s. My dog is proof that he has heart murmurs. And the doctor said it could be from using grain free foods all these years. I’m planning to get an echo ❤ check-up to see what level of heart murmur my baby has. Level 1-5, the lower the # the better. My babies Dr. Said, he might be a 2, but the eco check-up should tell more. 🎉

also why do u say the name of the kibble after your done talking about it? Its confusing man

  15. @jamarilittlejohn6345 on February 5, 2025 at 9:47 pm

1:59 shouldn’t even be a discussion, dogs are not herbivores

  16. @stevenlengyel9701 on February 5, 2025 at 9:47 pm

    How about the farmers dog?

  17. @HeyHeyAlabama on February 5, 2025 at 9:48 pm

It would be great if these foods came in 50lb bags at a reasonable price. These are great if you have one or two very small dogs that don’t eat much.

  18. @Sue-Roxy on February 5, 2025 at 9:49 pm

Red Barn Calcium is very high its high in bone??
    I have a BIG QUESTION??
kibble ingredients are cooked & cooked at such high temps then all the ingredients lose their nutritional value why kibble is brown, so it wouldnt really matter about organic sprout seeds etc etc??

  19. @faye391 on February 5, 2025 at 9:51 pm

I’ve been feeding my pup zignature since day 1. For the price and for the nutritional value, i think it’s a steal! Shes very lean and the vet says she’s looking good!

  20. @shawnastephens1536 on February 5, 2025 at 9:52 pm

Purina beneful. Purina has been around for over for 100 years. All these boutique foods are over priced and they know it. Purina has the science backed up.

  21. @skunkape9357 on February 5, 2025 at 9:56 pm

Certain breeds need lower protein. Mastiff breeds for instance protein should be 26 or slightly less. This is because you want slow growth because the rate they grow on high protein.

Honest Kitchen is not a good alternative. It gets +30% of it’s calories from Carbohydrates. Anything over 10% is concerning.

Where did you learn dog nutrition?

  22. @alexvou1170 on February 5, 2025 at 9:56 pm

    Why don’t you link anything

What food are you currently feeding?

  31. @elliswright2533 on February 5, 2025 at 10:08 pm

What are your qualifications to present us with this finding ?

  32. @wayne2411 on February 5, 2025 at 10:08 pm

These are great if you can afford to take a second mortgage to feed your dog.

  33. @BassGuy1 on February 5, 2025 at 10:09 pm

I avoid ALL meat MEAL type ingredients and focus on whole organic sourced meats. I totally avoid synthetic vitamins added to dog food. We just don’t know where the additives are sourced from and most of the synthetics come from China.I feed 80% raw 20% high quality kibble. I love my dogs too much not to.

  34. @marsom3410 on February 5, 2025 at 10:10 pm

You made it way to hard knowing the name of product

  42. @tonimusgrave9530 on February 5, 2025 at 10:20 pm

I used to use Sundays for dogs but it got to the last bag I ordered was $83 for 40 oz. That’s too much for me to pay. If you get the book forever dog by dr Karen Becker you will learn a lot about food for dogs. In the book it says ‘meal’ is any part of the meat that is all mixed together and mixed for consumption then added to the food but titled as the meat. Human grade is a good title but it can be disguising the ingredients. Dogs don’t need very much carbohydrates because it’s hard for the dogs to digest completely thereby effects the pets organs greatly. A lot of carbs over time can eventually cause pancreatitis. Rice and grain is not good for the dogs to digest either but it’s used as a filler also. Learned all this from the book forever dog…there’s a lot more as to where dog food originated also and on how we domesticated the dog.

  43. @erynscroggin7186 on February 5, 2025 at 10:20 pm

What would be your review of Ziwi Peak? They make air dried and freeze dried raw. It is excellent. And K9 Naturals is also out of New Zealand but it’s all freeze dried

  44. @anxsumflower8400 on February 5, 2025 at 10:21 pm

I wish i could purchase some of these kibbles for my senior doggies… alas none of them are available where im from.

  45. @rosemarycatalano2914 on February 5, 2025 at 10:24 pm

I have been using Carna4 for my dog. Great food!

  46. @13salinaspride on February 5, 2025 at 10:24 pm

So… i just went through orijen’s ingredients, 1 by 1, got the definition for every single ingredient in there. It was looking fantastic. i was thinking about ordering until i got to the bottom… it has juniper berries, juniper berries are toxic to dogs. Why would they put this in a dog food that the rest of the ingredients were pretty good. Confused. Anyone got some knowledge to drop on me?

  47. @Sue-Roxy on February 5, 2025 at 10:25 pm

    I have a BIG QUESTION??
Kibble is cooked & cooked at high temps killing all the nutrition in all the ingredients hense why kibble is all brown some kibble being darker brown which I have found are of poorer quality.

So what would be the point of all these healthier ingredeints – Seed sprout seeds or other really good ingredients??
Wouldnt their nutritional value be all gone?? It is a kibble a bag of Vitamins & Minerals & if not balance properly can be no good when you just feed dog or cat the same kibble brand month after month.
    Am I correct??

Also the Kibbles that are higher in Protein % & depending what the quality of the meat is like? if meat has alot of bone then you’re getting a Higher Calcium % & Phosphorus % that is way over the recommended amount. Calcium -1.20% max & Phosphorus 1%max so more stress on Dogs & Cats Kidney & Liver especially senior dogs & growing Large Breed Puppys this isnt good.

  48. @AmyWilliams-u5q on February 5, 2025 at 10:26 pm

    Thank you so much.

  49. @13salinaspride on February 5, 2025 at 10:28 pm
