I love the idea of this! My issue with my little Maltese is he rolls in the dirt. Is this safe to use on the rest of his body? ALSO, I REALLY dislike the smell of Lavender. Is there another dog friendly essential oil (I buy Organic ones) that I can use that would be safe and helpful?

The Ph of this would be concerning. Castile soap is very alkaline 9-11. Apple cider viniger is very acidic at 3.5… you are using the Castile as a stand in emulsifier, as oil and water do not mix, and because there is not a true emulsifier, all the liquids will separate, causing unsafe ingredients to be more concentrated in other areas, vs homogenized. You always need to measure EO on a scale as well, drops are not accurate, and they all have a dermal limit. I love your channel but this is disappointing to see. Dogs skins ph is more neutral, so if you do make this, please test the PH, and please mix very very well! Just because it’s natural doesn’t mean it’s safe. Castle soap has a ton of ingredients, Sodium Hydroxide which is NAOH (Lye), being the surfactant here, a lot of oils that may cause allergies, some with essential oils and all have a preservative that work ONLY for the soap, not the remaining liquid you just added. I’d be concerned this would spoil very quickly with all that water and no additional preservation…

Why is everyone and every product contain aloe which is toxic for both cats and dogs? Sure small amounts wont kill them but why is every person adding that to their wipes? I want nothing toxic no matter how mild it is on my cat.

I tried this and my dog goes crazy after I wipe him. I don’t know if it’s the smell but he goes nuts. That lasts for like 15-20 mins. He jumps all over the furniture and claw and scratches the floor and rugs. Ontop of that he’s still licking his paws a lot . Thoughts? Suggestion?

  24. @LorindaJoy on February 5, 2025 at 9:58 pm

Loving your channel! Can you please show how to make a wipe equivalent to Mal A Ket wipes? My 12 wk blk GSD needs vulvaplasty surgery which they would like to do when spayed. In the meantime, she needs these medicated wipes that are 14.00 for 50 small wipes. With this issue, she drinks and urinates CONSTANTLY! sometimes 20-30 min apart. It’s a NIGHTMARE and very expensive. Thank you!

It’s been almost two years and it’s been hard to find something that really helps him that I can afford to keep up with long term. Definitely going to be trying these wipes!
