How to Make a Homemade Parrot Perch. DIY Parrot Perch
I made a perch for Abby, my Moluccan Cockatoo. It was made from a willow branch that I had left over from the tree stand I built. The branch from this tree is a parrot safe wood. There are many sites on the internet that can supply you with the proper information of safe trees for your parrot. I removed the bark for extra safety and cleaned it with hot water and soap. I also repurposed the hardware from a broken perch. I hope you enjoy this video and that it is helpful in creating your own perch.
