Guppie grass looks framilar. Think I seen this growing in a old creek and mill pond from the 1890’s in pennslyvania.
Did water test and the water was off the chart acid. Tried transferring wild but it died quickly.

Thank you so much for this video. I am new to this hobby and picked up a small 14gallon cube tank.
Hopefully i am doing this right, but i am starting the tank with plants before fish.
My choices for plants (based on this list and my preferences) to start with are: Dwarf Hair Grass (instead of colored pebbed ontop of the substrate and Amazon Swords instead of a plastic decoration.
    Wish me luck!

  49. @Fisherman6383 on February 5, 2025 at 10:32 pm

I tried java moss, attached it on a rock put it on my fish only tank, after 2 month it turned brown with some hair algae growing over it
Then i transfer that whole rock with the brown java moss to shrimp only tank and let the shrimp do their witchcraft ,
It turned all green in a week and most of the algae were gone
If you looking for easy moss i think pelia is easier than java moss, it’s grow slower but ,man it’s hardy as fool

  50. @phatkatmeowmeow on February 5, 2025 at 10:33 pm

I saw in this video one of your tanks had pothos growing
